Info for New Patients

Our fee structure is honest and transparent. We aim to be affordable while charging a fee that is fair to our time and skills as a small business owner.

From time to time, we have special offers available to New Patients. Check our Facebook Page or Instagram for details, or download the Perthshire Local App to find out about our latest offers. We also have a limited number of discounted appointment slots available at any time for those for whom cost would otherwise be an obstacle. Talk to us about availability, we know it’s tough out there right now.

The regular fee for our New Patient Welcome visit is £50. This visit includes the following:

Your time investment for this visit is around 90 minutes. We will ask for your full name and an email address at the time of booking. This is so we can send you a booking confirmation which will contain a link to fill in some paperwork before you come in.

Please wear comfortable clothing — jogging bottoms or leggings and a t-shirt are recommended. Please avoid hoodies or turtlenecks as they obstruct your back/neck. You will need to remove your shoes. For hygiene reasons, please wear socks.

After your initial visit, there will be a follow-up visit with another treatment. You will report back what changes you have already experienced. We will explain more about the treatment, the journey, and projected timelines. This visit is £40.

At the end of your second visit with us, we will propose a game plan to not only get you out of pain but to keep you out of pain. This will usually include a course of treatment and bespoke ergonomic advice about how to support your spine while sitting, standing, and sleeping.

We will discuss the number of visits, frequency, and projected timeline with you. We like to operate in bite-sized, manageable blocks of time. We will run progress reviews / re-exams every 6 visits, at which point we will adjust your care schedule.

We have various payment plans available, from Pay As You Go to prepaid packages for 6 or 12 visits. We will discuss the best option for your body at your second visit.

(equivalent of £35 PAYG)

Prepay for 12 visits — £396
(equivalent of £33 PAYG)

We continue to ask you to wear a face mask (unless exempt) in order to protect the vulnerable in our community, and to protect us as small business owners who simply cannot afford to be off sick repeatedly with colds, flus, or Covid-19. We thank you for your cooperation.

Cancellation Policy from March 15, 2023 for all missed appointments or appointments cancelled with less than 24hrs notice:

* New Patients will be sent a payment link on enquiring for an appointment. The appointment will get confirmed when payment is received.

* Existing patients on a package: missed or cancelled appointments will be taken from your package. This means appointments cancelled with less than 24hrs notice.

* Patients on PAYG: So far I have asked you to pay on the day for that day's visit. From March 15, I will ask you to pay in advance for your next visit, at the time of booking. This means at your first visit on/after March 15 you will pay for 2 visits. After that, what you pay is an advance payment for your next visit, which will be retained in case of no-show or last-minute cancellation.

I have deliberately not increased my fees during the cost-of-living crisis to make care as affordable to you all as possible. I won't increase my fees for as long as possible. But I simply cannot afford to lose out on income because of missed appointments or last-minute cancellations.
